Spectrum Plastics Group (Spectrum), a global solutions provider for development through scaled manufacturing of critical polymer-based components and devices for medical and other demanding markets, is announcing the implementation of new business unit names to reflect the continued expansion into key market segments and provide an even stronger organizational alignment with customers.

The four new business unit names that have been implemented are:

Full-service and patient-critical fluid management solutions that leverage our increased offerings across extruded tubing, fittings, assemblies, and kitting.

Interventional & Surgical Technologies (IST)

End-to-end development and manufacturing services for interventional and surgical applications with a leading product portfolio of proprietary additive manufacturing, extrusions, medical balloons, steerable shafts, catheter assemblies, laser processing, and finished device solutions.

Specialty & Medical Flexibles (SMF)

Custom film and flexible packaging solutions for healthcare, automation, food, and industrial applications with value-added capabilities in adhesives, closure technologies, and printing, as an authorized converter of DuPont ™ Tyvek ®.

Critical and tight tolerance injection molding of implantable, bioresorbable, and engineered resins inclusive of micromolding, insert- and over-molding, quick-turn molding, and proprietary additive manufacturing.
