ZAGREB (Croatia), September 23 (SeeNews) - Croatian food and pharmaceuticals company Podravka [ZSE:PODR] said on Friday it has invested almost 30 million kuna ($3.9 million/4.0 million euro) in new equipment which will double its capacity for production of cereals for breakfast.

“The equipment consists of an extrusion line for production of cereals for breakfast, packaging machines and a robot for palleting,” the head of production at Podravka Branimir Perkovic said in a press release. The new equipment is installed in Podravka's pastry products factory Koktel Peciva in Koprivnica, nothern Croatia.

Podravka's shares traded 1.04% lower at 570 kuna intraday on Friday on the Zagreb bourse.
